The village (with about 1000 inhabitants) nestles in the "garrigue" (Mediterranean bushes landscape) on the range of the Natural Protected Area of Haut-Languedoc. Neffiès offers all the charm and flair from the "Midi" : small church, places in the shades of platanes to play boules, typical stones constructions "capitelles ",....

Neffiès dates back from 990. You may see the rests of the original chapel around which the community prospered.
